I haven't been there in some time but when I was going it was one of the best greasy spoons in the state and greasy spoon is a compliment ???

A really good, honest comfort food diner. No frills, no fuss, no muss. It's not a high class place, but the food is highly recommended. 4th time I have been there, twice for breakfast, twice for lunch. Never had any bad experiences with anything. Pleasant servers, clean and homey. And best of all, Prices are more than reasonable

I TRIED THE STUFFED APPLE PIE PANCAKES AN I HAD TO GO BACK AGAIN FOR MORE SOME OF THE BEST PANCAKES I HAVE EVER EAT.. I WILL TRY TO GO TO THIS PLACE AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH...GLAD I STOPPED HERE... GREAT BREAKFAST HAVENT TRIED ANY OTHER MENU ITEM BUT I WILL BE BACK ASAP...👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👌🏿

Good food,great service

The parking lot is a mess, cars park any where they want you can't find a place to park. Kitchen is so cheap with their food it is ridiculous. I don't plan on going back.

No frills, classic Waterbury main stay diner...located in the once bustling historic freight st. Section of downtown Waterbury... Good food.. good friendly staff.. and the place is always packed with loyal patrons.. that should be a clue... Enjoy it when coming though Waterbury

Cozy, classic, homemade food. If more places like this existed, the world would be a better place. Our server, Dana, is always so friendly, patient, and accurate with our orders. They let you modify the menu without hesitation. And all of the baked goods are baked in-house!

Horrible service. The Guy at the counter was extremely rude . Food was mediocre and gross at best and over priced ridiculously. The place is run down. Do not come here its not worth your money and time here!!

I lived in Waterbury the first half of my life and not far from it since, I can't believe this was the first time I was there. The food was very good and the service was better.

Fantastic place. Had breakfast, which they serve all day. Food is great, servings are generous, atmosphere is homey/friendly. The best was our waitress and I wish I could remember her name to give her credit. This was the 1st time I actually got constant coffee refills. All booths, seat yourself, cash only.

The best poached eggs I ever had. Waitress’ were friendly and attentive. Coffee was great to. A hidden gem.

For further details, check out the Republican American article published 12/09/19.#A Waterbury institution. The coffee is delicious, not burned or bitter when a lot of milk and sugar has to be added. The home fries were light and fresh. Not greasy or overdone. My ham and American cheese omelette was light and fluffy. Buttered seedless rye toast was good. My companions orders of French toast and bacon, and one pancake with sausage were also tasty. Fun nostalgia decorates the walls behind the counter.
